Providing Care during COVID-19

We understand that you may have concerns having hospice staff in your home during the coronavirus pandemic. Our staff will follow current guidelines issued by the CDC and the local county health departments. Staff will wear a N-95 mask at visits. We realize that masks may make visits feel less friendly but they are necessary to protects all our patients, their family, and our staff.

Information for our patients and families:

Your nurse case manager should be checking in with you regularly to assess your needs. If you have any questions or    concerns, please call us.

To minimize the spread of COVID-19 and to protect the health of our patients, our staff, and our community, we are    currently conducting some visits by phone or video.

In advance of in-person visits our staff will ask screening questions to determine if anyone in the family may have    been exposed to COVID-19. Any family members exhibiting respiratory symptoms are requested to move to a    separate room during our visit.

Families of hospice patients residing in Mayers Skilled Nursing Facility should contact us directly for the latest visiting    protocol.
